About this mod
I solve practical problems.
This is my first Deadlock mod, and my first game mod in general. I main McGinnis and it always bothered me that the majority of her mods are either full model swaps or just recolors. I decided to learn modding by doing the mod I always wanted: turning Ginnis into a Conagher (without just swapping the model. I wanted it to feel like cosmetics on the character). This mod uses TF2's Engineer assets that were gathered from "The Models Resource" and adjusted to fit McGinnis. She gets the classic hardhat and goggles with the added Mining Light on top. The pencil from Pencil Pusher sits on her ear, while her hammer is swapped the Wrench and the other pocket has cables hanging from it. Her right hand is completely replaced by the Gunslinger, and the gun is kitted with the Frontier Justice and Rescue Ranger parts. Everything mostly follows the BLU team's color palette, as it is also McGinnis' main color, and Dell Conagher original colors in the comics.
