AI Assistance Disclosure: Codex desktop app was used as a code debugging assistant to inspect logs during testing, verify that the mod behaved as intended, and identify possible performance improvements. No AI-generated art, screenshots, textures, audio, models, or other media are included. CustomItemCast helps you control how your active item slots are cast in Deadlock. Features: - Detects the active items in your item slots. - Adds an in-game configuration UI menu. - Lets you set a cast style per item slot. - Supports double-press protection for slots where you want extra safety(goose egg for example). - Saves your setup and applies it automatically while you play. - Includes localized item names for supported languages. Installation: 1. Download CustomItemCast.vpk. 2. Put it in your Deadlock addons folder: Deadlock/game/citadel/addons/ 3. Restart Deadlock after installing or updating the file. 4. Open the CustomItemCast menu in game and set your slot preferences. Notes: - This mod changes item slot behavior, so it may conflict with other item cast or keybind mods. - If you remove the mod, restart the game and reset your item binds if needed. - Major Deadlock updates may require a new version of the mod.
